next option is to upload the image to this site,

click on additional Options, below and browse for the image on your local harddrive and click post to upload it.

Then if you want click on the Link Inline Image in the drop down menu and select one of the options to make it display like a normal picture

Just seeing how the link inline image works as described by MagiC a couple of posts ago - using the 'inline thumb attachment' to hopefully get a small version of the pic...

edit: Works like a charm, although preview won't actually show the image, you need to cross your fingers and hit post  biggrin

Arsenal, when you reply to the thread, just below where you type your message, click on 'Additional Options' then the big 'Choose File' button and select the image on your computer that you want to show. Once you've got that selected, any spot in your message that you want that image to appear, select one of the options from the 'Link Inline Image' drop down box just above all the smileys.

I have an excel workbook I'd like to upload so people could download and use it.

The old forum allowed me to add it as an attachment to a post - can I do that here?

Yes Wenona in the reply box click on additional options, there you can browse you own files and attach your file.  Not sure if magiC~* has a size limit.  See grats post four back above.

Westie I tried this and the file still turned to trash on posting although it looked OK prior. I see that there files posted in threads that look great, why does a copy paste from excel turn to trash when posted.
