DD had a good day today
Hi All
It's a fair meeting today at Eagle Farm, and there are a few I've been waiting on. The rain came last night and we're dealing with a SLOW track. Obviously that's a sign for caution.
In Race 2, I've been waiting for 11 YOUNG PRINCE. ( ran third and paid $2.20) He gets terribly worked up before a race, but his recent efforts have been pretty good. Unfortunately he's found a very hard field. MR NICHOLAS and OIGLES are good chances. Hopefully we'll get EW odds.
In Race 4, I thought 7 JUSTIN CASE (won -paid $3.50) looked suited. I backed him the place last run, and was less than impressed with Byrne's ride. Up a class today, but the race looks ideal. He'll go close.
In Race 7, Black-Booker 2 TEARY EYED (won-paid $8.80) is 2nd-up. I think he's a promising fellow, and the track condition won't be a problem. The race isn't easy, but I can see him running on well and should run a drum. Another in the race at good odds, and with a chance, is 11 EYE EYE SILVER. Let's hope the EYEs have it.
