If there's already a thread on this maybe the following could be transferred. Saturday 6 Dec 08 two good things beaten
Doomben R4 Express Air missed the start completely settled well back and stormed home to run second Should have won for sure .

Caulfield R5 Keano had no luck at all wherever it went found trouble, not one of Boss's best rides, but was most unlucky finished close up 6th.

I backed Canny Finch in an all up place on the weekend and luckily for me another leg failed or I would be calling for blood. I cannot believe that the stewards did not call the jock in regarding riding Canny Finch out.

Metro Miss is another horse to follow in Perth. Ran a bottler in a Mares LR race before winning last week. Should be good odds if she runs in town again.

Jeez probably wouldnt have won but at 100/1 today Absolutelyawesome should have at least run a drum.

I had something on it just knowing the ability was there - knowing that last prep could be forgiven as it was set for the Derby but no luck, still ran 3rd in a decent city race. Won 1st up on debut too, so yes 5th might as well have run last as far as Im concerned, but its satisfying for my judgement that it went ok. Not everyday I have a quid on a 100/1 pop.

Seriously though it was held up for soo long I reckon about the 220 til below the 100, I honestly reckon it could have won the race. One to follow

Wont be getting no 100's next time though Sad

Sleek Machine should have beaten his stable mate Mondean at the Sunny Coast on Friday night. Missen who was on Mondean wouldn't let him out and that won him the race.
