over those short sprints he should keep winning but not in Brisbane IMO.

I don't know about that Kool, was pretty impressive and looks like he may have come back a better horses then last prep.

Just hope Richie takes him back to town sooner then later as would love to see him take them on at his best.

Dry track probably suits better then wet also

Suggestion to Management... to be consistent with the Twba and SC threads, we could change the title of this thread to GOLD COAST RACING?

The Palm Meadows saga continues....

Today's C-M reports that the QRL delegation will meet with Macau magnate Stanley Ho next Monday in Hong Kong.

Without financial backing from Mr Ho, the project is finished.

Said QRL Chairman Bob Bentley: "We just have to find out what level of interest Mr Ho has in the project".

QRL Operations Manager Malcolm Tuttle has indicated no definite figure on the project was available but QR could not fund the development and Ho was a likely venture partner.

There had been earlier speculation that Magic Millions - who stand to benefit from the up-market sales complex - might have contributed some dollars.  Seems that's gone by the wayside.  Also, Qld Government are conspicuous by their absence.  Things not looking too promising for Palm Meadows.

The Goldmarket is shaping as a great race.   Plenty of track specialist in this .

A return to form of the topweight mintanni last start will see support for him.
Albert The Fat won in a canter last win then was unlucky last start.

The Barry Baldwin trained Rightson put in a great trial for this last start and should figure in the placings.

My pick in this difficult race is Black Piranha , from Mintanni, Albert The Fat , Rightson and Friendly Embrace.

No's 11 / 1,4,10,3,9  tri and F/F

Best of luck with your pick.
