yes she is listed and I just emailled u the link so ignore :-) Am NOT happy - its a $4000 loss for us assuming she gets that price but shes had no bites yet cos she called 2day to ask what we want done with what little money we have left. I didnt speak to her - Im not interested. Hubby just told her continue making decisions on our behalf as she has been n dont bother to call us again with rot that I already had organised with her. Trainer is going away for a week - just as she places an ad which is strange cos shes not around to take calls. If nothing by the time the trainer gets back from hols we will continue racing as horse is still being trained. I cant tell u how mad, upset and hurt I am by the whole thing. No lease just is NO help either.

as most of u know our horse we own 10% of is being sold under our noses. The trainer and other syndicate holders all decided to sell her and then told us. Well, we dont want to sell her but we weren't given the option. Do we have any recourse here? We've paid the fees regularly and done everything the syndicate and trainer has required of us and we want to keep this horse because we feel now she is being driven the right way she still has potential. Trainer will not allow a lease and we cant afford any more than what we're already paying so what do we do to keep her AND to get something done about the way it has all been handled, in our eyes, in total secrecy without our input etc? Thoughts appreciated please.

Nothing much you can do about decisionmaking if you don't own a controlling % of the horse and aren't prepared to fork up the $ to buy the horse yourself. Fact is if others are no longer willing to pump money into your horse and they want out then that is their prerogative. Would be unfair if you negatively judged anyone for wanting out of a perceived money pit. Can't expect everyone to have same expectations as yourself in racing, only way to have things done the way you want them done is to own a horse outright. If you can't afford that then you've got to choose your partners wisely otherwise this sort of thing happens.

can't do much about it DL, maybe the person that buys her might let your retain your share as a silent partner

Yeah well done LOF, it is sad that it has come to you having to mention your own horse, I would like to apologise to all who have had horses racing and not talked about them before or after the race.  I need to smarten up my harness watch list, but even if I do, I don't get a lot of chance to check my emails on weekends 
I don't want to become someone who posts only about their own horses so can you guys at least keep us informed about your horses

OA380 was amazing last start, missed the start by plenty and still looked a chance turning for home before running 3rd. If he has taken any ill effects from the run he only has to trot to brain these.

Would be nice to see him trot away but it has got to the stage where just hope.

sorry guys I wasnt sure how my little mare would go today...she ran a very brave 3rd
after being 3 wide to get to the death on the first lap
Paid $5 a place...very very happy with her
