Good luck longneck with the wifes horse on friday also...I will def watch with interest..

Thanks Denzel, but it is Saturday at Whyalla, not even a Tab meeting, results will be on the harness site but will tell all anyway.  Mate your horse is sooo much better than a lot of us have so don't get too depressed yet, long time to go and if not send him to SA, I know someone who will take him on here
Stick with it mate.  Thumb Up

Unbundled did not seem to race like he usually does.

He usually is right up on the bit, dont know wether it was the wet conditions or what but he was not his usual self.  Still ran 3rd after doing work early though.  Bit of a boat race IMO in front though but won't go any further there,
Denzil your bloke went heaps better but I still reckon he has the potential to be a lot better than that.

Mate I don't know what it is but I really like your bloke.

Geoff....Interesting reading...lol

Driver Rodney Petroff was questioned regarding his actions upon Chipmont Lad that led the field before shifting out rounding the home turn forcing Happy Maori to his outside wider on the track and enabling the eventual race winner Trottn On the Ritz to obtain an inside run. Mr Petroff stated he was instructed to drive the gelding with confidence and was able to obtain the lead relatively comfortably. Mr Petroff claimed he was endeavouring to maintain his position on the marker pegs however despite his efforts, Chipmont Lad continued to shift out. Trainer Gary Bailey when questioned advised the tongue tie fitted to Chipmont Lad had come undone and the gelding had its tongue over the bit. Mr Bailey believed Chipmont Lad was a genuine winning chance and was disappointed the gelding didn’t run on as expected. It was also suggested Chipmont Lad did not race well on wet tracks. A post race veterinary examination of Chipmont Lad failed to reveal any abnormalities. The inquiry has been adjourned until a date to be fixed to enable the Panel to consider the evidence, view relevant replays of Chipmont Lad’s previous race starts and analyse the betting on the race.

Found it funny Bailey thought he was a " Genuine winning chance" and then in his next sentence says " He doesn't race well on wet tracks".....Well it was pissing down for the first 2 races.. what

I actually think Rodney Petroff is a good driver and would gladly have put him on GAMMD if CW and junior choose LMT and Ten Commanders. Unfortunately after what he did to Happy Maori I don't think that is going to happen. It was quite rude.

Denzil you must be shattered, he leads he wins and the $8 was good value. Hard luck. Trotters are the most frustrating animals at times.

Yeah luck....Yesterday was rock bottom as puppet was as confident as i have heard him so we had a real crack each way.
Think he should have a month off now as nothing going right.

Your bloke shouldn't be far away from back treating rivals with contempt and going along his winning way buddy???

I am off to Thailand tomoz for a bit of R & R in a nice resort...Good luck everyone with your horses and will be back annoying everyone in a few weeks.... Thumb Up   Thumb Up bye bye

Good idea Denzil give him a month off to freshen him up, the wind was blowing strong mail for him on Friday so I thought you might have had a crack. So damn frustrating.

Wont be easy for my bloke this time in, he has won 3 T0's and is now a T3. To be honest I think he has overachieved this season already so I'll be happy if just he makes the Vicbred and the Breeeders finals.

Have a good holiday.

They tell me the wifes horse ran the fastest last quarter but the driver did not do waht we told him which was to go forward at all cost, he was last with a lap to go. Not blaming the driver as it was his first for some time and it is hard enough to get a driver at Whyalla.
However the rorse is in at Port Pirie race 3 no7 and he is still going as good as he can so don't be scared to have a bet each way boys biggrin

I am still looking for 10 people at $1000 initial payment and then $10 per week to have a crack at a horse so I know all those regular posters have their own horses but I also know there are heaps of watchers.  $10 a week means we do it for $100 per week and I know Geo, Denzel, Luck etc will tell you if you have a horse with a top Vic trainer you are probably talking well over $1000 per month ++++. (am I right fellas)
So if anyone wants a crack at being and owner this is cheap and like I have said my wife worked for G. Butler who had a horse called Touch of Pearl which finished second to Candymaker by not much (you vics would remember him?)

Sorry not trying to steal the thread but would love to have a forum horse, just think it adds to the amount of people that would post.

Good to hear you had a good time Geo, sounds like something we are all envious of.  Nothing like catching up with mates in an exotic place and drinking in a pub just like you can at home  lol   lol   lol   and I am serious about that I can see what Geo is on about.
Sounds like all is quiet on the horse front, the horse I wanted to buy (and get a syndicate for) was promptly bought so maybe I should look to lease one myself, I don't know Ho hum.  what

Hi everyone,
I am back and refreshed to annoy the living crap out of everyone as usual...Phuket is awesome place and recommend to all to see at least once... Cocktail beer Wine Glass

Geez Luck....I leave for 10  minutes and you get the " Luck Slows" out straight away......I am onto you my friend...GAMMD right now has as much potential as any Lang 4yo trotter including Let Me Thru/ TC don't you worry about that. His win in final was brilliant but that run first up was the one for me. You can sit on any 4yo trotter and win Vicbred/BC.....Slows don't work around here anymore buddy.
When is he back at races as i see Let Me Thru has had 3 trials now and ready to rock and roll....  Thumb Up   Thumb Up

My bloke well ....He galloped as had a foot abscess that came out 2 days later....The run was the following week after 3 inches of rain and 3 other paddock horses at puppets got them...Yeah I know, Excuses,Excuses,Excuses/ Blah,Blah,Blah....Hoping to be back for last vicbred heat on May 7 but Blah blah blah blah blah...hehee

Geoff, Wondering what is happening with your stable as one I know of can't be to far away from back in work???

Longneck, Sorry to hear the forum stable didn't get up and going. Would love to help you out but I have a 2 max stand....The wife looks like she can't get them going. Buy her some roses and get a cheapy all to yourself.
I know " The Ghost" would be right behind me with that one if he stuck his head in now and then...lol

Anyway I hope everyone is well and enjoying a few beers now and then....Lets Get some winners back on here boys

I never thought the forum thing would happen but thought I would try and try again.
Just thought something to bring us all together every now and then would be good.  Can completely understand why people don't that is not a drama.

Gees denzel I think you have been a bit harsh on the wife, yes I would show bias but she trains 1 horse and since she has taken over there are 2X2nds one at Kadina (which was actully port pirie) beaten hfhd and last start at Whyalla, where they always walk at the start and sprint home (it is crap) and look at that last lap replay the commentator actually calls him a different horse for the whole last lap until the straight.  As usual they ran a crap mile rate of 2.09 at Whyalla but sprinted 59 sec last half which is very very fast for Whyalla and he was 3 wide the last half without cover.  His 2X7th's well first was at Pirie beaten about 4.5 metres and the second was at Whyalla when jagged back to last (against insructions) and had no hope, interesting to see the winner of that race was beaten by us on Saturday after having the same run.  Been a long time before good runs before that.

Anyway, I hope the wife does not look at the forum as she is an angry women  Sad Sad  She calls a spade a spade and a shovel is a F*&cking spade too, just ask her  lol   lol   lol
You know I am only shit stirring mate, seems there is not much else to talk about on this post at the moment  what

Holly F*#K....Sorry mate....Massive typo there....

It is meant to say " The wife looks like she CAN get them going"......So I was meaning you should buy one and give to her to train and then don't have to worry about other owners...

F#*K that looks bad so a HUGE sorry to you mate.....I was even thinking of his good runs while i was typing  shy shy shy

Many apologies....Hope you and the wife are well........Geez I feel bad reading that ........
