Does anyone have an excel formula for converting minutes, seconds and 100ths of a second into a decimal figure ?
EG 2.04.10 I want to turn into 124.10 secs

I've searched the net and still can't find an answer to it.

|

I transferred the time in its original form in excel to notepad; then re-imported it into excel via the text import wizard specifying "." as the value separator, you then have three values in 3 columns minus the decimal. Then I used the formula =a1*60+b1+c1/100 That should give you what you want.

Do you guys know if the getpivotdata function in 2007 has a different syntax from the getpivotdata function in 2003 ?

Don't know the answer to that, but your other problem can be solved by the above quoted routine fairly easily.
