We've got a long-running thread on Sydney Racing.  Let's start one for Brissie.

Have a few shots from Meydan and will post when I get my brain back in order.  I gather the program was shown on Sky.  Certainly was a night to remember.

Yes, stayed up way beyond my bed time watching some great racing.

Thought the aussies raced good, especially the ones, that are not aussie's anymore.

But the highlight for me was watching Rocket Man come back, and be very unlucky not to have won, looks a very impressive horse

Well, that's the consequence of an alcohol free environment.

Access to EtOH was certainly not problem, Geoff.  It flowed freely - but was hard to find a bar-person who could pour a beer.   lol

A mate of mine ordered a bottle of the very best champagne at 750 dirham (about AUD240), and had to be content with it being poured into cardboard cups. Sad

Last season SIONG TEE proved himself a reasonable stayer.

Bit surprising that Ms Crompton has brought the Pentire 5yo to Brisbane first-up.

He's big odds and I'm gonna have 6d on him for the drum.

Like Holding the Fort here at 9.00....and don't mind the wide alley as the fence may chop up ..and predicting Favours Traded to get the chocolates in the follow up

Nice placing there, Heath. Thumb Up

I'm keen on FAVOURS TRADED, too, but the race is no pushover.

I reckon there's value in the black dog for the drum.  This is the fellow Stubby rode in that horrible fall at EF last year.  He's back on today.  The horse is no champ, but rarely draws a box.  He's in the 2 today.

Well everything went right for him, Mark, and a masterly ride from Colless. Thumb Up

I backed him the drum and boxed FT, MrBW and OTG in the Any 2.  Of course they run the Q. rant
