Lovely morning to kick off with in the River City.  Plenty of sun and light breezes.

Not sure what we'll get for the rest of the day, but for now the tracks will be drying out.

Hard to call, but I'd work on SLOW for Doomben and keep an eye out - good reason to go to the racetrack, too.  Great Idea

A near perfect track at Doomben today.

Plaudits to those BRC staff responsible for maintenance and presentation of the track.

Gee the last in Brissy today will be interesting if we run it. It is absolutely bucketing down about 2 kms from the track. Lots of water dumped in the last 20 mins.

No rain to speak of over the courses today.

Fair drying weather, and with no more rain, I'd think DEAD would be right for EF at kick-off on Saturday.

Right now, EF is in pretty good condition.  Might not run records, but it's by no means a swamp.

Fate of tomorrow's card won't be known till we check the gauge in the morning.  Will be a shame if it doesn't go ahead.  Vadim and mono have been dieting all week for the cheap pies, and I've had about 20 bets. rolleyes
