Doomben mightn't be too bad ,very strong breeze today dried out the golf course which was water logged until yesterday, wouldn't mind a dead 4 if it can be arranged no rain overnight  thumbsup

Still windy with occasional showers coming in off the sea.

Hard to see any improvement in track conditions.

Just had a look at 7 day forecast for the SC.....great time to have horses that prefer good rated turf tracks.    angry

Plenty of rain around Brisbane.  The tracks have had around 35 mm so far, with more likely.

Doomben is SLOW, and it won't be improving.

We were unlucky to lose the meeting today.  The weather influence that dumped all the rain mid-late morning was rather small.  Was all gone by early afternoon.

Still, we'll never complain about rain. nowink

A cushion track meeting would have gone ahead, I take it.

All the bad weather has clearly washed the colouring out of DD.

A cushion track meeting would have gone ahead, I take it.

No, they would not have raced in the teeming rain.

Had this meeting gone ahead on a Cushion track there would have been 3 runners each race.  The Brisbane trainers avoid it like the plague.

Generally fine over the tracks today.

58 mm leading up to yesterday, so we're looking at SLOW for Saturday.

Still not out of the woods for today.  Humidity remains sky high, and there's plenty of heavy cloud over the bay. rant
