Strong westerlies have come up this morning. Maybe up to 20 knots or so.
Clear skies and track will be perfect for EF. Just a shame about the rail.
The leaders will be copping a headwind up the lonnnnnnnnnnng straight.

Rather bleak end to the week. Overcast skies, and just a few spots of rain. Forecasters say nothing to be concerned about.

Forecasters have got it right again. Light, persistent rain over Brisbane and surrounds.
We'll be on a rain-affected track at Dbn on Wednesday.

Doomben being the track it is, I would say there is no doubt.
Then again I live at Logan and Doomben might have got more rain than us.

Wouldn't be any risk, IMO, unless there's a deluge today.
I think there's been around 25mm over the tracks. If so, we'll be on a heavy, but quite safe.

Ted, I thought you would be washed out up there. I see you got around 10 inches of rain around your area.

Afternoon has been much better than this morning.
Without more rain overnight, we should get away with SLOW tomorrow.

No rain to speak of overnight. Still heavy cloud around. Not easy to do the form for Doomben.
