R3 - Recycled Tycoon ran a nice race last time. Can race handy and with Avdulla's claim he will go close. Reprisal has only had a handful of starts but looked good winning it's maiden last time. Monte Cassino drops back in distance and class and should be there at the finish too.

Smashing Pins salutes at the "juicy" odds of $1.70

Geelong Quaddie
1st leg - # 7 The Zeebac was a good run on debut back in August when 2nd at Bendigo. S.King aboard and the distance suits first up this time. # 9 Alcala comes here after a good debut run at Kyneton and with natural improvement should figure. # 11 Fire Of Desire debut at Sandown in July and ran a creditable race. Should be ready for this.
2nd leg - # 3 Zabrinski is back in class and distance but has a win on the track. # 1 Owzat also doesn't mind the track but the distance could be his main problem. # 4 Da Hussler looked alright last time and # 5 Mystical Grey should be included. # 8 Creates is a perennial placegetter but would not surprise with the right run. Hard leg.
3rd leg - # 5 Scaredymac was good on dubut but a little disappointing last time although that was in town. He'll go better with the lass back on. I liked # 1 Altjira's run last time which was first up. He should strip fitter for this. # 7 Lightning Lloyd was also good first up and with improvement will be there at the finish. # 6 Outed probably best of the rest.
4th leg - Going for # 4 Punk'd from the Corstens stable. It has blinkers on to replace the pacifiers. Last couple at MV have been alright but with Duric back on today expect improvement. # 12 Sir Kinther Mac has Geelong form and Avdulla aboard is a plus. # 6 Classic Edge could be the smokey. Its form is ok and with the right run can figure. Chances also to #'s 5, 7 and 13
