Dunno if there's a thread already opened.

If so, please deal with this as you see fit, Managers.

Someone of the genius-status of just racing would be able to predict SPs accurately on Thursday, surely?

I mean it's acknowledged that everyone else in the racing industry is a mug.

Maybe this is where Mark should look, wasn't he looking for accurate tote markets the day previous  wacko

I dunno whose they were.  I didn't ask, and don't care.

Like all tips, you can make them into what you want after the races.  $1 WIN on the top selection returned a 25% profit.  Plenty on here would be shouting from the rooftops with that record.

I like Howard as a tipster, sounds like he puts a lot of work into his selections and sounds like a nice guy to boot when listening to him on 4tab

Agree, MagiC.  I've never held back with compliments for both Howard Walter and Grant Morgan for their tips in Best Bets.  They leave a self-appointed Brisbane tipping genius in their wake - and all their tips are free,

The BB guys do their tips on Thursday midday.  Some of us have trouble finding a place-getter Saturday midday. nowink

Yep not many put effort into selections or back them I dont think as a matter of fact. I can remember a while ago I was at a MV night meet with my son and one bloke was yellin out  into the broadcast box: ' Ey Turfy, give us a tip that you actually think will win!'

Was funny as.

A tipster named Paul on 2ky this morning gave out a market that i assumed was his own for the 2yo listed race at Kensington today.

He had Purdy at $2.60 fav yet could not find a place for him in his top 4.  shocked

I don't usually listen to these guys and have no idea how often a tipster gives his market and than does not select the horse he has marked down to be the favorite as the winner.

Surely if you make a market your favorite would automatically be your selection and the rest of your top four would be in your market order ?

I can understand if further into the day through your own market you see better value for another runner and make that your main punt, but surely if you mark something a 6/4 chance he is YOUR likely winner ?

Maybe Vince knows something about his Tip that we aren't aware of

Race 4 #14  MERRY MONI

Having watched the replay of it's only start at WF on 9 Mar it didn't get hot.

Up on the pace early but soon under pressure to stay in touch and lost ground in the run home beaten about 8 lengths.

Bearing in mind there are 8 first starters in this race most of which haven't trialled
why would an astute judge like Vince pick this race to declare a special .

UNiTAB ratings have it equal top with another which has had one run all the unraced brigade are below them.

I wont be on it so it's safe for anyone who follows Vince to have a bet.

The train stopper is in neutral this time.

I should get a job at QR. Thumb Up
