Where are the muppets who bagged him on the other website? Calling him all sorts of insulting names, bagged the living shit out of him, pretty pathetic i thought at the time. Have people changed their tune?

Does anyone know who has the biggest loss for a jockey in Sydney? Is it Nikolic. He is overrated at times.

The only problem with this stat is that if you ride a long shot, suddenly, you are in front.  I wonder if there are any stats on who has ridden the most beaten favs in Sydney.

Racing And Sports has good information on jockeys over a number of seasons.

They list the last 25 odd favourites for each jockey (they never take part of a meeting so it can vary eg 23-26 runners).

Also all results are broken up over price bans.

A few stats for this season are:

Jockey          Rns<=5/1    Wins              P/L         Last 25 Favs Wns
K Mc Evoy        79           18  (22.7%)       -$353            9 of 26
J Cassidy         80           15  (18.76%)     -$107            6 of 23
D Nikolic         124           17  (13.7%)       -$573            5 of 26
G Boss             45             5  (11.1%)       -$320            4 of 24

I have a feeling this thread will bite in the future.

Before the guy left for O/S I can't remember anyone questioning his riding ability, especially around when he was winning the Cup etc, He seemed considered in the top rung of Melbourne jocks.

Now he's labeled as unable to ride a rocking horse.

Yes he's cost me plenty with some terrible rides but I reckon the egg will be on plenty given time.

Similar really to when one D Beadman came back to riding, too him a while to find the groove but when he did .......

Nice ride by McEvoy to almost pinch the 4th race on Rain game...showed some guts to go to the front in a slowly run middle distance race...fought back well when headded to finally dead heat....nice ride in my opinion

I was waiting to be lambasted by Gobaggers thankyou.

"Who needs clueless snipers when you have idiot flame war arsonists like Authorized making their inane contributions."

Couldn't have said it any better myself. I spose if you get your jollies out of baiting me then I shouldn't really criticize 'Authorised' or anyone else for it - each to their own etc. But it's not a very classy or kind spirited way to try to get a laugh in life.

Corey Brown on My Sweet Cookie was terrible.

I reckon he's as overrated as McEvoy.
