Where are the muppets who bagged him on the other website? Calling him all sorts of insulting names, bagged the living shit out of him, pretty pathetic i thought at the time. Have people changed their tune?

I did not know the "Callenders" had passed on.

Maybe he meant to say gravy, Big Rich doesn't look like he's missed a meal since he was born.

Look there will be a bit of media fluff but I think the main thing is the appeals body gives a definitive statement on why they have allowed the appeal - that's the key - the stewards need to be clear on this.

It's a small one but I hope Peter V'landys doesn't try to put a positive spin on it to protect the stewards. You win some, you lose some. Cop it on the chin as part of the process.

glad the appeals panel got it right - i'm a knocker of mcevoy on many occasions - but this was just poor judgement - and have seen worse by him - jockeys ride bad races - and a month over not giving reasonable chance was absurd

Jockey Kerrin McEvoy Appeal Upheld
The NSW Appeal Panel upheld Darley head stable jockey Kerrin McEvoy's appeal against a controversial 1-month suspension following his ride on Shakes at Royal Randwick in Sydney on March 18. Racing NSW stewards had found McEvoy guilty of "failing to take all reasonable & permissible measures throughout that race to give Shakes full opportunity to win or obtain the best possible place in the field". The Appeal Panel found that "although McEvoy's ride was, in the Panel's view, an error of judgement, it was an error that was not of a culpable level which warranted a breach of the Rules". (May 4)

Can someone explain how they can spend  FIVE HOURS  on an appeal?

FIVE HOURS!!!!!

They must have spent the first four and a half hours waiting for the lawyer to find his stopwatch.

Clearly the media pays us a visit every once in a while, as I found out whilst reading an article about Mark Zahra..

McEvoy has been relentlessly criticised by punters and media in Sydney. Racing forums, which have sprouted up in the past few years, are always hammering McEvoy.

McEvoy is hot at the moment on favorites - 7 wins, 2 seconds from last 10 rides (only one of the winners was odds-on)  Thumb Up

With McEvoy injured, and Parr suspended, who will get the bulk of the Snowden stable rides?

Corey Brown?

By gee Snowden has no chance of winning the premiership with Parr as a backup for McEvoy, he slaughtered 2 today that were favs and missed a place, Classic Guitar(couldn't get a run) and Scarfe(wide facing the breeze all the way) I didn't back either of them,

He's got a fair bit of the McEvoys about him does Parr, doesn't seem to make bad decisions just makes no decisions good cases are Purple last week and Classic Guitar today.

I agree Parr is almost as bad, but he dosen't destroy favs like McEvoy. Also if they both ride for Darley in same race, Parr nearly always finnishes ahead of Mcevoy.
MCEVOY THE FAV KILLER..
