Where are the muppets who bagged him on the other website? Calling him all sorts of insulting names, bagged the living shit out of him, pretty pathetic i thought at the time. Have people changed their tune?

When he weighed-in on The Owl he did so with, what I thought was, some concern.

He then looked at Murrihy with a hand-found-in-the-cookie jar look.

Richie must have had the same thoughts as I 'cause he asked "Is all right there?"

McEvoy just said "Yes" so there was probably no issue.

Might look at the stewards' report later.

He seems no different to a lot of the top 50 jockeys. Rides some good & some bad. They all make good & bad decisions in all races.

I'm also not aware of any history between stewards & McEvoy. I would find it unusual if stewards made disparagging remarks to a jockey or singled them out.

If that, EZ, is in reference to anything I said, I didn't mean anything of the kind.

Relevant section of the stewards' report

"Near the 1300m Zero Limit had to be steadied off the heels of The Owl (K McEvoy), which shifted in. K McEvoy was told to ensure he is two lengths clear when shifting ground."

I reckon Murrihy mumbled something to McEvoy as he was weighing in, something like "We'll have quick chat a little later".

KERRIN MCEVOY TO RIDE AT DUBAI WORLD CUP MEETING

Kerrin mcevoy will partner both sepoy and helmet at the 2012 dubai world cup meeting

Kerrin McEvoy will partner both Sepoy and Helmet at the 2012 Dubai World Cup Meeting

Top Australian jockey Kerrin McEvoy will be reunited with Godolphin again when he rides H.H. Sheikh Mohammed’s champion Australian horses, Sepoy and Helmet, who will both challenge for international glory on Dubai World Cup night at Meydan on March 31, 2012.

Sepoy will line up in the Group One Dubai Golden Shaheen over six-furlongs on the Tapeta while Helmet will contest the Group Two UAE Derby over nine and a half furlongs also on Tapeta.

Sepoy has won 10 of his 11 races for Darley in Australia under the guidance of trainer Peter Snowden. The Elusive Quality colt, born on September 27, 2008, will remain in Peter Snowden’s care for the Dubai Golden Shaheen but carry Godolphin’s colours for the first time in that race.

Helmet, winner of the G1 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes and the G1 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes at two plus the G1 Age Caulfield Guineas at three, is being prepped by Darley in Australia before shipping to Dubai for the UAE Derby in which he will race for Peter Snowden and sport the royal blue silks of Godolphin.
