Forum Punters,
Have a look in your Crystal Balls & see who will be the winners for the rest of 2008 in the following:
1) NRL Wooden Spoon
2) AFL Wooden Spoon
3) NRL Premiers
4) AFL Premiers
5) Caulfield Cup
6) Cox Plate
7) Melbourne Cup
My ball has been a little cloudy this year but I think I can see
Cowboys, West Coast,  Storm, Hawks, Master O'Reilly, Light Fantastic, Efficient.
There will be a prize to make it more interesting.(for the person with the Clearest Ball)

Have left a message on the previous thread but thought I better start a new one to not miss anyone who has joined the new forum.

Winner of the the Crystal Ball Comp on 3 points was Bill&Tony.
Placegetters were Umrum, Lucky, & vedder who all deadheated for 2nd.

Over the next few days I will put up some more info, just need the 4 winners to acknowledge they are still around & are on board.

Special mention to Bill&Tony for selecting the Melbourne Cup winner 4 months out from ther race
noteworthy

Well done BillandTony, let's hope for a few returns amongst them. If any of your tips are scratched, I'll just chuck in something.

vedder, remember you also have a sportsbet to select.

So close guys, We nearly pulled off the MR Quaddie.
We had first 3 legs up with ItsaMonty $13,346 & Mashang $4,477 ALIVE going into last leg but see no collect in the end. tears
Great tip vedder with Scenic Shot paying $20, hope you had a little side wager.
Wondering if BillandTony gave himself an uppercut for the MR Tips but did redeem himself somewhat with the SR Treble. The divvy had me lol
Vedder, I've found out women's tennis matches aren't your strong suit! It was a slaughter-roonie nowink
Oh well thanks for playing, it's all in good fun. Thumb Up
Praying that the Fed Express is the last man standing this time tomorrow.

Did back Scenic Blast so I had a very good day. biggrin

But you are correct, tennis is not my strong suit and the bet never stood a chance.

Thanks all the same mate for your generosity.

Buchan??? Looks like Caulfield on Sunday(not Saturday) as apparently there is a heatwave down south & forecast says too hot today. The jockeys should love the heat, no need to visit the sauna. sweat "every horse is sweating up behind the gates" would be a worry for punters & the horses health of course.
B&T, Will post the Quaddie on www.gunpuntersclub.com website under 'betting list' heading Sunday morning.
