Think this Guy deservers his own thread yeh ??

Ran 56.3 on a dead track and demolished what I thought was a handy sprinter in Azzaland  Undecided

On a good track he runs at least 55.8 i guess ??

I thought he was very good at his first WFA start.

The run of the race was Hurried Choice imo.

She is a mare (hot weather) and she had to race in between horses for most of the race.

With Raheeb being caught out she kept kicking up to keep him there but that ploy worked against her a couple of times. Once was at abt the 600m when she bumped heavily with him and then he tried to keep her pocketed in the straight for as much as he could.

Once clear she did "wobble" a bit and the jock had to change whipping arms but she did finish it off very well......

Matt I thought at the top of the straight Raheeb was going to still do something considering his run in transit he should be forgiven imho. cool

Raheeb very very dissapointing even with the poor run in transit.

This Burdekin Blues is a top class animal. The form guides have to stop saying he is in form, he is not in form he is a top class animal.

I mUST AGREE BOYS  also i bagged the horse as far as when it come south
however its done the job well, BUT i still think it wont trouble the top liners in
say a Newmarket Oakleigh plate type scenario,

The Newmarket is one of the toughest if not the toughest race in Australia, but he will be in it up to his ears. It will be a top class field by the looks of things, if he finishes within two lengths of Northern Meteor it will still be a top class effort.

I wouldn't get too excited yet either - basically beat a bunch of distance horses first up, he did what he should have, and yeah - he did win, can't ask for more than that, but still has to do more yet.

Yep, although you can't do any more than win, had a bit in reserve imo
Will be racing against seasoned sprinters in Newmarket and also his first run down the straight.
Bubble will probably burst
