Think this Guy deservers his own thread yeh ??

Ran 56.3 on a dead track and demolished what I thought was a handy sprinter in Azzaland  Undecided

On a good track he runs at least 55.8 i guess ??

Gee you are getting old Leo.  Time marches on and I forgot you were getting on in years.

Seriously do you have much trouble with all those injuries that you had, such as arthritis and the like?

Was he flattered by the wet track ?

Not according to Baldwin a few days ago.....

Quote
Trainer Barry Baldwin is praying forecast rain won't eventuate ahead of Burdekin Blue's test to confirm a Melbourne trip at Eagle Farm.

"He's won in the wet but he's half the horse when he's not on top of the ground," Baldwin said.

Blue pill won 8 from 11 and was by blazing saddles, in his last 2 starts he beat Juggler by 1.5 out of barrier 18 at 8/1 and the (Chief )Chief de Beers by 2.8.
It was jan 1999.
time will tell how good Burdekin Blues  is.
Comparing horses is a load of crock. imo

Snapped his leg on the crossing after the post at the Gold Coast after winning the race, the Gold Market was it  ?  tears

We had a nice mare also by Blazing Saddles called Lady Blaze at the time, and I backed Blue Pill every start he had just because of his breeding, was a real tragedy for connections and the racing public  sad

Raheeb very very dissapointing even with the poor run in transit.

This Burdekin Blues is a top class animal. The form guides have to stop saying he is in form, he is not in form he is a top class animal.
