Think this Guy deservers his own thread yeh ??

Ran 56.3 on a dead track and demolished what I thought was a handy sprinter in Azzaland  Undecided

On a good track he runs at least 55.8 i guess ??

I am a little confused DD  shy

BB, had xrays of his knee in Sydney before going to Melbourne, or are you saying he had xrays of his knee in Melbourne after the lightning what

I thought it was his pasten in Sydney, but seems he strained a ligament in his knee during the lightning  chin

Will try and find the article, quoting Bazza  Undecided

It was the pastern problem that delayed the trip to Melbourne.

There were suggestions that galloping him the reverse way had caused changes to his knees.  X-rays showed this not to be the case.  The damage is to an inside ligament on one of his forelegs.

Best I can offer.

Nash, the horse is owned by Tom Sheahan and his son, who are graziers up in Central Qld from memory.  They're great country guys, and won a Roma Cup with Snick, also trained by Bazza.

I sense Bazza not enamoured with the prospect of Royal Roma...but then again, he's a country boy too.

Yeah, that win down the Flem straight - was it Oaks Day 2 yrs back????  was something.

Bazza is one of our characters.  Long may he train winners.  (Got some suspect owners to deal with, though.)

Last year DD. I always hear the likes of Alan Thomas and Larry Olsen singing the praises of Baz and his stable.

Todays Courier has Baldwin stating it's the only suitable 1000m race he could find.  63 kg, take a few off with a claimer and you have to say he's well in.
