A thoroughly outstanding sprinter, and good stallion sadly had to be euthanized this morning the result of a recurrence of a colic attack.

RIP General - one of my favs.

I remember backing the favourite Chase the Chick in his first start and watched in awe as he strolled in by 7-8 lengths. He started at 1/25 in the Brisbane ring next start or was it his third start?

Was there to see him win the Carlton Cup and the Magic Millions Cup.
