agree with that - really think deseutude will make his price - seems really popular with punters - but think youthful jack will have his measure - ew to nothing

Can't back this up with stats but I'm certain Anthony Cummings gallopers perform best in the first 2 or 3 runs back then taper off when the big races are being run.

Desuetude should prove hardest to hold out you'd imagine.

I was interested in the field from an autumn point of view and the Doncaster with the recent success of 3yos.  Quite a few of the noms here also feature in the Doncaster.

Horses like Duport, Desuetude and Youthful Jack and the like the obvious ones. But trying to work out which path they're on is tough.

One horse that hasn't really got a lot of attention is Baci Amore, barring his Caulfield Guineas failure his spring was a good one running good races in the Golden Rose and Spring Stakes - and second in the TJ Smith [Qld] as a 2yo.

Fitted up with a couple of trials and a nice barrier he's capable of an upset [least a first four finish] at odds. And looking ahead at 150/1 for the Doncaster has got my attention.

nice call meat and seal. I was a big fan of YJ up in brisbane, but I really didnt think he would match up to the top sydney form. He is clearly a very good one.
