sorry, just needed to put a little tribute up on a good forum.
our old girl died today, 34 years old, amazing mare.
i bought her as a 10 yo, ...she had 5 foals for us, all winners, by my mighty
old mate STAR OF THE MAGI ( last living grandson of star kingdom ).
i had to put him down, 12 months ago, before we moved back to mornington.
he was feeling too much pain in his old arthritic knees, that destroyed us
( 25 yo ).
i left merry behind in DEC, with a great mate, rick mulley ( athols ) son,
because she wouldnt have survived the trip........thanks heaps RICK.
however shes gone, plenty of tears here, but hell thats life,
specially with all the awful tragedy here.
MERRY still holds the swan hill track record for a 1000, if u buy the winning
post, and swan hills on, ule see it.
one day , when ure all bored, ile tell you the story of RUSHIN PULSE,( her son),
and his 2 maiden wins, and a huge plunge we landed
