When does it Start?

Round 3 - Friday, 27th March, 7.30pm Sydney time(Wests Tigers Game   )

Who is Eligable to Enter

1)  Every Member of the Racehorsetalk.com.au forum at the timestamp of this post.

2)  Every person who participated in the TNHRCF Double Up tipping comp in 2008 and is a paid up participant in the 2009 Double Up tipping comp.

3) New members of the forum who joined after the timestamp of this post who wish to join can do so by being paid members of the 2009 Double Up Tipping comp when it is launched - the reason for this is simple, it's very easy for 1 person to have many nicks in minutes. If they want to pay they can play. 

Rules of 3KO

Three Strikes Knockout is pretty simple.

Everyone for the first week will pick any three teams to WIN.

For every team you pick that loses you will have a strike next next to your name and one less selection for the following week. When you obtain THREE STRIKES, you're out!

****** You may not select the same team in two consecutive weeks UNLESS that team loses in the first week.

A drawn game (after Golden Point) does NOT qualify as a WIN. If the team you select has a drawn game you will get a X next to your name.

Submissions of 3KO Selected Teams MUST be made on the weekly designated thread at least 5 minutes (changes included) before the scheduled first game of the week kickoff time. Absolutely no leniency on this rule.

It is the responsibility of the entrants to get there tips up on the weekly thread.

You can edit you picks as many times as you want before the deadline. Any edit after the cutoff time for whatever reason will be seen as an attempt to cheat and all tips will be considered as strikes against your remaining amount of selections and you're out of the comp.

If you submit no tips for a week you will be given the following.
If you have 3 selections left the 4th,5th,6th ranked home teams for that week(based on NSWTAB betting odds).
If you have 2 selections left the 5th,6th ranked home teams for that week(based on NSWTAB betting odds).
If you have 1 selection left the 6th ranked home teams for that week(based on NSWTAB betting odds).

In the event of multiple knockouts during the prize placings dead heat rules apply unless it involves 1st Place.

If a dual/multiple Knockout occurs for 1st place(ie the last 2 or 3 go out together) then they will play again the next week. This may be a 1 game shootout or involve all games. I will decide this at the time if it arises based on what point of the season it has occurred.

I will also be participating and If I win a prize I will donate my portion to the Westmead Children's Hospital. 

Hopefully everyone understands it and how it works. If not, this thread is here anyone who may have questions about the competition. It also gives you a chance to talk about the weekly competition in here as there will be no discussion in the weekly submissions threads.
