Gin ...my earlier post re Pringles ring in dog...did I remember those names correctly?....and apparently the one dog won no less than 4 maiden races under different identities.....not sure if that part is correct or not....but surely would not surprize me...

Bundy it was before my time but it was brought up on another greyhound forum recently, I believe it was identified as Temple Quest (or very similar) and the story was very close to as you've posted.

I remember when I was told by a leading trainer about Worth Doing etc, couldn't believe my ears and didn't want to believe what I was hearing ...... a couple of years later and the whole 'pottergate' blew up  Thumbs Down

The 'best' can take into account many things but trying to rate them on pure speed I'd go this way  chin imho of course

1 - Brett Lee (and by miles)

2 - Flying Amy (freak)
3 - Whisky Assassin (amazing mid race pace when he found room, would have loved HP)
4 - Tenthill Doll (rep of the trainer worries me)
5 - Surf Lorian (may suprise a few, but ran an unheard off 20.60ish at Singleton when 21.2 was fast)
6 - El Galo (faultless beginner)
7 - Rapid Journey (more a race dog than out and out speedster)
8 - Elite State (perfectly placed during his career)
9 - Go Wild Teddy (front runner, didn't really run time)
10 - Pure Octane (good race dog)

I left out Worth Doing by mistake but really don't know where to put him, he'd be up there but his record is tarnished  Thumbs Down

What was that good dog named after it's owner.

Similar to the Lombo pacers
