Someone should pull Terry Bailey's coat and tell the winner ( Crevasse ) of the last at Ballarat today in pronounced as 'kriv-as' not  'crev-asy'. It is an English word that means crack or split. Just because it looks as if it is a French word TB need not go over the top and pronounce as if it's a French word.
