As most keen punters would be aware the Moonee Valley meeting tonight has an Apprentice Series in which apprentices from all around Australia will compete.

In this morning's Herald Sun newspaper Tim Habel has written an article lauding WA apprentice Jarrad Noske. Noske is second on the WA jockeys' premiership behind Willaim Pike with 28 winners.Noske certainly is amongst the best of the present crop of WA jockeys.

In his article Habel says " it may be premaure to declare him the next Damien Oliver" then goes on to quote Perth Racing media chief, Matt Nowland, who "rates Noske the best apprentice he's seen in a long time ".
Matt Nowland turned 21 years of age earlier this month. smiley

Not saying Amy Taylor is the best of this lot , but she has a good chance on Red Buttons.

Our best up here imo is young Turpin
