How in the world can grv justify allowing CRUISING LUCY in the Australian stayers heats at The Meadows tomorrow night?????
Has absolutely disgraceful form and has won 2 from 40???????????????   Surely these group 1 races deserve the best possible greyhounds to start and by allowing a useless outgraded mongrel to compete is against everything that group 1 racing is about imo.
The trainer should get a kick in the  censored for being so silly and the grv grader needs to get a talking to imo. 
GRV has turned our great product into a joke in recent months imo. Our fighting policy is pathetic and allowing this "greyhound"to run in this race is equally as bad.

No reserves, so I assume there were only 16 nominations.  So GRV haven't put this into the field at all, nobody else misses out.  All greyhounds deserve a shot at the race.  Good luck to connections, it is good to see owners and trainers giving these races a go.

So you honestly think it's good to see the trainer enter his dog in a race it can't possibly win? gee.... i guess growing up with greyhounds for my whole 30 years would suggest i've been misinformed... i was always told that placing ur dogs to win and looking after them field wise was what it was all about...not sending it out to be run off it's legs by far superior dogs. It is grv's fault manikato as they dont have enough rules in place for these dogs to not be entered in group 1 races.
But i can see how being thrashed week in, week out must be a thrill for connections Undecided

Every horse in melbourne cup has to qualify judgey. This greyhound cant break 43 seconds around sandown ffs and it wouldn't qualify if the same boundaries were put in place.
If this dog can get in an event then i might consider knocking 25kgs off our rotty nd entering it as well.  cool

And just for the record... I have no problems with this dog running in normal races. But surely group 1 races should be open to dogs who aren't in danger of being lapped. If the horse racing industry did that then there would be an uproar.
