With a vested interest in his younger half brother, it was great to see Victoria Derby winner, Rebel Raider, return to racing with a fast finishing effort over the unsuitable distance of 1200m. at Moonee Valley last time.

Rebel Raider has been set an ambitious program but as he showed last spring he is up to it. His "Grand Final" this time up will be the AJC Derby.

I doubt, however, that he will start at 100/1 again ....... like he did in the Victoria Derby      ....... every man and his dog knows about him now ....
