One of the strongest Hobartville fields in many years, highlighted by the fact that the 2nd placegetter in the Royal Sovereign doesn't make the first cut.

Youthful Jack and Micmac both looked super impressive last start. If you missed Rebel Raider's run behind Micmac, you weren't watching the race closely enough. Predatory Pricer's top rating would bring him into contention here imo. And with a little bit of rain about this morning in Sydney, Sousa shouldn't be left out.

Many chances, and will probably look for some value close to race time. Anticipating a great race.  Thumb Up

A long time since I've seen a horse win as easily as Micmac did last start.....ears pricked and under a throttlehold as he crossed the line 5 lengths in front. I know you've got a stronger class of animal here, but sometimes you get a feeling for these things.

You wre right the 1st time judge as he ran in the
RoYAL Sov  he ran 2nd relegated  to 3rd on protest.
He was Late scratched last week surprisingly as he has won on a wet
track anyway. I reckon he has problems the horse

agree,i think the same, got wires crossed re the scratching, cheers

Over the Wicket is a good horse but may not be in the same league as some of the other's mentioned but could be one for the exotics. he was never going to beat the winner last start and will be hard pressed to do the same but is fitter than most of the others.

I've got him pegged as a wet tracker Jeunes.

You just can't go past YJ imho done nothing wrong, Desuetude is a class animal and should be there abouts. Mic Mac very impressive last start but I'm fairly wary backing Melb horses coming to Sydney for the 1st time.

Can't have RR, will be running on but may flatten out now looking for longer and watches on Sousa (prob needs a soft lead?) and PP for races down the track.

Good race really
