Mark your diaries, people.

If you live within a plane ride of Eagle Farm, mark your calendars for the 2009 Brekky Creek Pre-Stradbroke Bash on Friday 5 June 2009.

We have a steak, a bet and a beer.  The relative numbers of each will vary with the individual.

Vintage and myself set the scene about 10 years ago and it's grown every year since.

This is the day to see whether that pest on the forum is really such a censored.

Be there!!

Spudda

Ya gotta wonder why they would skip a steak at the BCH but we all have our idiosyncracies.  I think Gratlog had a muffin and coffee there once.

In just 9 weeks, God-willing, we'll be assembling at the Brekky Creek.  Form-guide in the back pocket, wallet full of money, hunger pangs, and an insatiable thirst.

Looking forward to the challenge once again this year, will nominations be sought and independently scrutinisied for the BC punting team directors?

So you reckon it will scar him for life if you miss his first birthday?

Yes, vintage.  It's time to start thinking about this.    Thumb Up

I will bet what's left of my super that 777 will turn up with some unknown webpage star with a camera and a stop-watch hanging around his neck and tell us he's part of his run-on team.  The more the teams can be finalised before the day, the better chance we have of countering 777's underhand tactics.  I don't mind that he's keen for his team to get the award, but I reckon this year he should play by the rules.

I've already had indications that three star players from over the boarder are heading our way, and they have DD on their guernseys. lol

Shame Larsy can't make it.  I was gonna put him on 777's team, so their bank would be outlayed before we'd ordered our first steak. nowink

Ahh, yes, you seem to remind me DD that the scoreline might be 2-0?

Looking forward to the rematch. One of the best days on the calender.
