When Country cups are run, one very important fact that a lot of Punters over look is the Home track advantage, most people understand the advantage of home tracks in general but what very few know is that most trainers get the Majority of their clients from the local area so they try to win a race on the biggest race day of the year in the local area, when crowds a the biggest and Local business are sponsoring races etc, not necessarily in the Cup either, any trainer that has a winner on the day stands a good chance of picking up new clients so that is the day they set their horses to win if possible,  so keep your eye out for them on these days!

I know little things about racing that a lot of Punting "experts" don't know, I sometimes release them because I know the statisticians won't listen and I will still get the big odds, you have to know what statistics to put in or the wrong answers come out!!

It is not enough to know what happens when doing statistics, you have to know why and when, then you can delete the deadwood and the picture becomes clearer, statistics change dramatically, there are lots of little things that create a niche in racing that very few know because the ones that do just don't tell any one, and they are hidden in statistics by lots of deadwood
