Close your Internet browser and reopen and see if that makes a . My issues have gone away now but I had to clear cache (I.e. delete all history, stored pages, and cookies.), close browser then reopen.

Can anyone explain why the TAB is closing the fixed odds market on the last race at the gold coast 10 minutes prior to the jump?

Any thoughts? Do I dare to think that they close off the last fixed odds race early to balance the book and manipulate the tote pools?

Wily.
Did the fixed odds actually close 10 minutes before the jump?
I thought when you mentioned this on Saturday that as all races had been put back 15 mins or so that maybe they had simply forgotten to change the time display for closing.

Wily, my experience is at the other TAB but I am sure it would be the same at Tabcorp as it is at Tatts. The fixed odds bookmakers cant balance the book by betting back into the tote pools. The reason for that is that the worst results thru the fixed odds book are the horses that are short the tote so punters back them fixed odds instead. Betting back into the tote would only guarantee a loss.

Authorized, Dubai schedule was changed 48 hours out from the meeting and the new schedule they put up created a number of clashes. On this basis it was decided not to proceed with coverage of the Dubai card. Regards, Philby

Can someone explain to me why if I bet on the account through the terminal at a tab, I cannot cancel the bet if I made a mistake? However if I used cash, I can get a refund.
Also why is the minimum bet for a single fixed odds bet $5 at the tab but $1 on the net or keypad on the phone?

Jeunes, You are 100% correct---just their policy they chose to use...

Is there any sane reason why the TAB is not betting on races 4 and 5 from Newbury tonight ? They are not over subscribed they only have 10 and 16 runners respectively.
