Im with you OL, everything just points to her winning again.

Not sure she has ever strung together a couple of wins before, but its a pretty weak field.

I can't see how anyone can make a legitimate case for any other runner apart from TJ if all things are equal

The only thing that will stop TJ is the lack of pace. I can see maybe two leaders and unless CB takes a good spot on TJ, she may struggle to get clear running room if she is too far back.

Raheeb will improve leaps and bounds from his first two runs back this prep. He moved into the race beautifully last time before fitness gave out and the wet track pkayed its part.

He'll be sitting right on the pace in a non pressure race and will sprint away over the top of the small mound.

Tuesday Joy for what ever reason has never won at Randwick.

I'll be having mine on Mentality.

T/D 6-3-1-0

Loved it's run at Rosehill when resuming 2 starts back.

it's up to 3 starts now - raheeb has travelled in reverse for the final 200m when the pressures on - i still believe he's gone -
TJ at that price on a dry track - no thanks -prob deserves fav but not that short - i'm left with mentality also - but wouldn't be shocked with payne's mares or even viewed - something has to find form

Why would anyone be discounting the Kiwi's?

they usually come over on the back of good performances - both their runs were terrible first up and with the distance short of their ideal- i think a watch with a view to next start and BMW - though rain would help them

Now I can distinctly remember this race getting a serve about its' Group 1 status over the past several years on the old forum.

What have we here....

Melb Cup winner (and the 6th horse)
Bris Cup winner
Metrop winner
BMW winner
AJC Derby quinella horses
G1 winner Mentality
David Payne's good mares
Vision and Power (14-1 shot who would be a shorter price in the Aust Cup imo).

Matt, I wouldn't be puttin' too much on Raheeb.... tongue

I was always told self praise is no praise ! lol. The form of Raheeb and Nom Du Jeu is a shame.

Vision And Power looking the likely winner is about on par with Niconero winning an Aust Cup.

I'm convinced the growth of HK and few others has taken away the depth Aust racing had 15 years ago.
