Nathan Rose on Conquering.
Why restrain the horse when he goes best running along.
Horse looked gone 500 out and then comes again on the line to run 4th.
Would have won easy if he let it roll along like he did last start.

Brad Rawiller on Eight Bills must've thought it was a 1000m dash. Why set a fast speed in the lead with the favorite especially as it was run over the last couple of starts when leading? The first 3 home came from well back. Gotta agree and the ugliest was Munce on Ringa Ringa Rosie. Looked like he was going to fall off as in a panic stricken fit he tried to get a run

Munce is an ordinary jockey these days so it shouldnt come as a huge suprise that he rides a few shockers.

Surely that was not the jockeys fault ?

Steven King, No wonder you are riding in the backwaters of Southern Australia when the action is in the North.

Bit delayed this, but from Monday MV R2 I've only just seen the race now, and realised what a joke of a ride it was from Newitt on Illusionary. I know he's got a reputation of taking off too early but my god Illusionary might have even pushed the winner with even a slightly beter timed ride. Especially at MV when your still on a bend til the 200 ya dont go doin shit like that ridiculously early coming from wider.

Its not even NOON and peter Robl can not be beaten for the worst ride of the day. Whilst Nash Rawiller is sailing down the outside, Good old Pete is sitting there smoking his pipe behind a wall of horses with nowhere to go.

One from today. Danny Miller on Telexden in the 3rd at Belmont. Gets the gong because he went up from about 1000m out to harass the leader (who was the fav) which gave his own mount zero chance. If I didn't know any better I'd say he was setting it up for something from the back to run home

I thought Craig Newitt set Niptious a huge task in the Sandown staying race yesterday - led at what seemed a pretty steady pace early/ middle stages- then took off early - only to see the three placegetters collar him late - the riders of those three should donate a part of their fee to him
