The Galway Festival - Ireland's answer to Oakbank and The 'Bool is on this week as well. If you don't drink you might not have as much fun as the other 90% of the crowd. 

Plenty of action on the flat and over the sticks. The Galway Mile is the highlight of tonight's card. I'll be cheering home Celtic Dane with Chris Hayes in the saddle even though the barrier offers little help. From a good gate I'd be very keen. The ground may have gone against him too so it's unlikely I'll be taking a financial interest.
