Whobegotyou fitter now. If he handles the right running he'll go very close.

Really? I was on him in the Guineas and was dissapointed. Heart of Dreams cruised up and went straight past him - would need a home state advantage to turn that around I would think.

I reckon $9 about Von Costa is decent but I don't think anything can beat Whobe, but at that price I wont be on him.

That first up run of Whobegotyou left a lot to be desired, he was against the 4th graders of the older brigade and got beat. There is no way you could be confident of him doing anything after that run.

The problem is all the other 3yos are taking it in turns to win.

A watch race for me.

Yep and Von Costa goes all right up there so I reckon it might just be his turn, although it almost seems hes forgotton how to win, he has talent but can only seem to place, this might be his race. He's the only one im considering atm coz i think hes value but if not im certainly with you on sitting back and enjoying.

Does anyone know what happened to Predatory Pricer last run?  Took an ok position on settling, but lost important ground down the side.  Was he fighting the rider?  Came on just ok in the straight, but reckon something went wrong...backing him up might also suggest he didn't go full steam?

Evidently Predatory Pricer was not switching on last week (not concentrating) and didn't let down properly. Backs up and a gear change (blinkers first time) could make him the value runner. Think WBGY is the one but couldn't possibly come in at that price.

He ran the fastest last 600m of the day and had plenty of improvement in him. I thought it was a cracker of a first up run. Just needs to handle the Sydney way (see no reason why he wont) and he'll win.
