Backing Impressive Eagle is like licking LSD. From barrier 20 she'll miss the start, fight the jockey, go for a wide run then get blocked for a run anyway, hang in, turn sideways, drift out, look gone at the turn, look the winner at the 200m and finally come somewhere between 1st and 10th. At $18 it sounds like a hell of a trip to me. But if you're more the conservative type, surely Absolut Glam from barrier 2 at the weights is a compelling each way bet.
She's $26.00 on fixed odds now. And Romneya is $9.50

With (only) $6,500 in the Vic Tab pool it's interesting to note Kirvinsky has come up $1.60.
Does it have 1,000 owners or is there a wee tip out on this?

Absolute Glam looks the goods bookies seem more generous than expected and I'm always wary of that.

Hey anyone know why Damselfly was scratched? I reckon she would have won.

Perhaps there was a sign about Bel Mer, or Damselfly.. Coz Price put his higher ranked rider (Froggy) on Bel and put Smith on Damsel...
