Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel have been responsible, singly and as a duo, for some of the most popular music ever recorded.

They've announced a surprise "reunion" and will be touring Australia in June - July.

Seats were offered for the Brisbane concert from midday today.

How much would you be prepared to pay for a seat of middle quality at their concert?

Assuming they're only going to perform stuff they recorded together, I think I'd rather go and and see Paul Simon on his own.

Tom and Jerry oops that was their original band name in 1957.  Under their own surnames this was their first hit.

My wife asked me would I like to go as they are here at Boondall on my birthday, but I don't think I'll bother.

Really do like their music and have a good CD of theirs that I give a run sometimes.

Have you got the Central Park Concert DVD mate?  Certainly worth getting, if you don't. Thumb Up

If you gave me a ticket I might go if there was nothing on foxtel that night.

DD, Didn't they have a huge fight and swear they would never perform together again?

I guess they must of done their arse on the share market and need to get back to work to fund their retirement.

I think you're right in that, winner.

Even the Central Park concert was after the "bust up"?

I guess we can all swallow our pride if the reward is a few million bucks.

On a related note I saw a TV clip of Paul McCartney and Ringo singing I'll Get By during the week.  Maybe a tour coming up.  (I think not.)
