In the current edition of Breednet (15.04.09), Tara Madgwick has written her usual amusing alphabetical coverage of the Easter Sales.
When you get to “R” you find the following little pearl:
“Rortsville? Apparently not confined to the Gold Coast depending on your definition of rort.” Perhaps Tara might find the professional ethics within herself to expand on the above statement. It would seem that the entire whole front page story might be tucked away behind the innuendo. On the other hand, Tara may not, since she ALSO represents many of the studs involved in some of the more high profile rorts (deals, ramps, buy-backs – call it what you like). And she knows who they are.
Some of the star performers of Easter gave outstanding, oscar-worthy performances convincing the Australian public that the deal was real. They apparently forgot that they were also leaving the kind of indisputable evidence that is deadly in a court case, should certain members of the Australian media continue to investigate.
Talk about leaving a smoking gun…
