 Queen Lauryn (Token Prince-Cheeky Sprite) ran 37.07 to eclipse Royston Raider's long-standing Ipswich 630m track record.
She won a four-dog 3rd-4th Grade by 18 and three-quarter lengths over Cartello with three-quarters to Sneaky shiraz in third.
Royston Raider has run 37.08 in March 2000 for Peter Roy and Ryan Ayre. It was one of the longest standing track records in the country.
Trainer Tony Brett was confident his bitch could be credited with the track record even though she contested a four-dog race.
Club president Merv Page confirmed the record was correct.
"Bearability ran the track record at Toowoomba in a four-dog race years ago, so I knew she would have to get it," said Brett.
He now wants to give the bitch one more 600m race before taking her to Melbourne for the heats of the Group 1 Sandown Cup early next
