getting into the form a little early with the fixed odds markets out and a lot of dry trackers well in the market - with any more rain around - cant see it getting to any better than slow - esp with the traffic it's had

carr stakes
ortensia should just win - but healy creek looks like really appreciates wet track - and good final sectionals for heavy track at 9.50 might be overs on slow track

emancipation
pravana two runs this prep have been exceptional(last one on dead ) - hasn't raced on slow- slow pace / sprint home against it last starts - the 4.80 i think is fair - taking a gamble handles slow - but dead - wins - 1.90 place ew shouldn't miss

QE
whobe well found with obv run in donnie , at 3.00 happy to bet around on soft surface , with pred pricer, metal bender not suited on soft and my question on derby form - will bet around 3yos
managed to get 7.50 vision and power with betstar

and under the 61kg tht duoro valleys run behind skiddaw peak was fine and handles soft - only 3 runs back - just nabbed by zipping , beaten less than 5 L by the best in HK , at the  51's available - huge overs (found sarrera at 100's last year- also off a strong run on performance behind skiddaw peak- de ja view hopefully )

will have a little on largo lad at 18's also

sydney cup

lang has been working toward this and wet track suits - 15/1 looks OK
prefer horses down in weight over 2 miles on weight track

all aged
want to watch the replay again - but think i spotted duporth getting home well last start - on breeding will handle wet - and was a good effort over mile in guineas last year - so 1400m ok- 26/1 - value for me

Ista Karema is down in the weights & ran on well behind the Qld Chariot.
Quinella looks OK.

Can I get a Sydney weather update / track estimate from any Sydneysiders out there?  Thanks.

(Track manager said this morning it would be a slow 7, maybe slow 6 if conditions ok.)

Pearler of a day today, and a heap of sun rays.
Having said that could get a drop or two tonight.  imo  cool

Thanks Mr Keyboard.

(For anyone doing Flemington form, wet and miserable all day in Melbourne Town, but only ~2mm so far.)

it's been dry enough today - but had mountains including wed night on north shore (pretty similiar ) - reckon it would have got to heavy thu morning and improved to slow 6 best tomorrow (cert worse than derby and doncaster day ) and being 3rd sat straight- they will get into the track

delving into the form some more
R1
hate odds on on slow tracks -1,2,3,7 boxed for multis

will leave race 2 - just can't get confident - like joe blow for melb cup

r3 - sequinella looks the saver against pravana - ew at 4.8  (really happy that divine rebels rosehill win is a form race - worked last week and going that way in cup)
r4 - no value for me either two - think they are pretty closely matched - back one and it will beaten a nose for sure ( will cheer M.rain as the breeders have told me 2.20 EDLago to win sires title is a steal and followed them in )

r5 i'm off the derby 3yo's and think whobe a risk on slow (from last ) - a s above backing 1,5,6 - and a little on 3 - best result duoro to place

r6 was keen on lang - the closer i look the more i'm leaning to ista kareem off last run and will put ahead - backing the both though

r7- again backing a No at odds - danleigh and duporth - and will gamble the scenic-marasco will handle the wet (a super horse) for a little as well

r8 - tough - but main play is lay 'starring to win' who seems to have a wrap on it
will play 2,3,4 ( still cant believe carizo ck ran 4th last start - beaten 0.5 length at 150/1 - 3rd would have been a great result )
