Champion mare Makybe Diva has given birth to her first foal at Coolmore Stud in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Coolmore's Peter O'Brien said the bay colt, by English Derby winner Galileo, was born at 3.16am on Friday and both mother and son were doing well.

Wonder if this colt will earn as much as Mum (14.5 million).
