With no fewer than 97 stakes performed mares catalogued, the National Broodmare Sale has again attracted Australia's best line of mares in the one place at the one time. Among the stakes winning mares catalogued are Coco Cobanna, Episode, Eskimo Queen, Lady Jakeo, Tully Thunder, Victory Vein, Hips Don't Lie, Mimi Lebrock, Sequential Charm, Taimana, Dan Baroness, Translate, Belcentra, Black Minx, Marveen, Espurante, Exceedingly French, Reggie, She's Meaner, Pure Black, Russeting, Tenant's Tiara, The Chunkster and Wazawatsyn. Also in the line up are the dams of stakes winners including Cheeky Choice, Belong to Many, Green Birdie, Here De Angels, Autumn Jeuney, Man of Illusion, I Have No Fear, La Lagune, Pergram, Able Choice and Book of Kells.

The fastest growing yearling sale in the country has a proud record of producing high quality gallopers at great value prices. It's the sale that's produced a Golden Slipper winner, a New Zealand champion and Singapore's best ever sprinter. This year among those catalogued there are (at least half) relations to Group One winners including Alinghi, Camarilla, Cheeky Choice, Danleigh, Diatribe, Grout, La Montagna, Lady of the Pins, Magnus, Mr Innocent and Star Shiraz. Also in the catalogue are relations to fellow group winners Book of Kells, Deferential, Pre Eminence, Wilander, Aunty Betty, Here De Angels, Idalou and General's Dynasty.

Entries for the National Racehorse Sale and the supplementary catalogue for all sections of the National Sale will close on Friday, May 15.
