Amelia Denby is a 4kg claiming apprentice jockey in New Zealand. She won the seventh race at Dargaville NZ today on a roughie called Duke. I'm pretty sure I heard the caller say it was her first race-day ride. You could tell she was inexperienced coz she hardly moved a muscle in the run to the post. However, Duke responded to her riding and won the race. I can't find much info about her on the interweb. Does anyone know anything about her? Congratulations Amelia.  Thumb Up
