Pretty simple - well backed favourite jumps to the lead and nothing gives chase. I've never seen so many horses being strangled so obviously!

Interesting to note that on racingandsports there is someone who claims to be an owner of one of the runners (Mr Gold) questioning the tactics of his jockey who was supposed to go forward. Horse had breathing problems according to D. Missen but nothing abnormal was found by the vets.
