Don't think he'll be racing at Randwick in October, but it was a good effort by RTW.  Humping 59.5 he had to concede weight and a lot of ground to the "pea" in the race, yet ran on well.

And thanks to Tattsbet for their nice odds. beer

Opening Maiden race at Rocky today was won by an 8yo gelding having his 40th start.

No surprise it paid $54. lol

 PRONOUNCE int he 3 rd tomorrow is an interesting runner, Ex-Messara horse who looked very promising on debut over 900M, fair to say it's not gone on with it, and had 2 runs at the picnics and seemed to have done okay not really any harder here, the last 60 meters of the 960 will be a worry, wonder what price it'll be.

Nice ride by Thompson to get the blue dog home at Cairns.  $2.15 on fixed.  Track looks tricky, so I'm putting my cue away.

Not sure what sort of a surface we're on up there. wacko
