Rub him out for life and that way NO MONEY will be wasted keeping an eye on him. He doesn't deserve to return to professional horse riding .......

I thought it it had been suggested on 927 that it might be 30 months, subject to appeal.

30 months which ends in September 2009 ......
Racing doesn't need him and racing's image will suffer even more with him involved with it ....
This offence was serious enough for him to be jailed for quite sometime .....
Yes I believe he has done his time but that is no reason to give him the same toys to play with again ....... he can go play with other toys ... like a broom..or shovel ..
and yes, every jockey in Australia would have passed on "tips" at some stage and probably had a bet but not every jockey in Australia gets an OFFER to ride in HK where the RULES are VERY, VERY CLEAR and if those rules are broken the consequences will be devastating ...
Find another job Munce ....... racing is far better off without the likes of a greedy little bastard like yourself ..... and anyone who supports his return to riding is a supporter of corruption imo ....
p.s. how many did you NOT get caught for ?

Yes I want him back riding. We need some decent riders in Sydney. Tell me anyone better there at the moment. Of course I support corruption. That is what makes the world go around.

So if there was a lack of childcare workers you would support a convicted pedophile returning to childcare just because he's good with children ? Give him the same "toys" to play with .... oh but it will be ok, we'll pay someone $100k a year just to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't reoffend ??
Get real .......... no where else bar the horse racing industry would a person be supported to return to the place and do the same work he so dishonestly did beforehend .....

Come on . That is a silly comparison.
Should Jim Cassidy still be riding. He didn't serve on day behind bars , did he?
I could be wrong here, as I cannot remember, but what was Craig Newitt guilty of.
Should Lee Freedman ever have been allowed back? (of course he should have, but what he was guilty of didn't help the racing game much.)
You could name heaps if you wanted to I reckon.

say it was a banker ... who used the banks money ...... which is the customers money .... to invest in things .... make huge amounts on it .... gets caught ... does time .... should he be allowed to have the same position at the same bank or another bank again ?
by the way ... the banker returned all the money he borrowed so no one really lost out .... he just used the money to profit unlawfully himself

Say he was a drink driver. Should he be allowed to drive again when we know most of them re-offend.
Maybe cheating trainers should be wiped out for life as they have cheated us punters.

Again you miss ther point.
One crime is not the same as another crime .....
Tell me how much monetary profit did the drink driver make from driving .... huge amounts ? ..... anything ?

Yes, I admit I'm confused and must confess that I really couldn't give two hoots what happens to him.
