Why did I pick the Queensland Derby has his group 1, clearly I underestimated this fine specimen of a gelding.
Yes matt, but you were the first to spot him

Ronnie reckons the Doncaster should be his aim.
Not for me. I'd be going the Guineas-Derby trail.

I tend to agree on his racing style, he looks a tad brilliant, but by gee by gingo by crikey his pedigree crys 4000m.

Reports suggest this morning he will run in the Guineas (yet another great Rosehill Guineas coming up - one of the best quality races in Australia imo), and a decision to be made from there re Doncaster v Derby.

The GC 3yo raced unkindly in the early stages on Saturday.
No hard luck stories, but I thought he ran a very good race.
Will he proceed to the Derby????

This morning's SM tells us that the head-gear will be removed in the Derby.
John Wallace reportedly thought the Guineas run was good, considering the horse's antics during the race, but is unsure whether he'll stay.
Stathi Katsidis thinks he WILL stay, but says he's never ridden a horse that pulls so hard.

If he was mine he would be going to the Doncaster--if he pulled badly at Rosehill over 2000m, how bad will he pull over 2400m at Randwick

If Stathi thinks he will stay, than if the horse starts to pull he should just let him go and let his stamina takeover, Why would he fight him if the horse does in fact stay 2400m ?

Who said Stathi was gonna fight him?
Next Sat's race will be a totally different tinna tuna.
