He is a little more brilliant than I gave him credit for.
Mind you the wet track possibly played its part.
He will be hard to beat from here on in you'd think.

Yeah, was an impressive performance, and agree the wet was in his favour.
Look forward to seeing him over distances.

I was singing the praises of the QLD form after this bloke won but a mate reminded me that the Jackal can't get out of his own way down here but won up there
Still think the good ones are equal to other states.
S.A, NT and Tassie are struggling

Yes, she's yours. A couple of our fillies gave her a run last start. Albeit with the weight advantage - but that was how it should have been.
Chameleon was touted as a very smart horse. She was left lamenting at short odds yesterday.
Maybe Brisbane horses aren't as slow as some would have us believe?

She was also coming back from the mile and was in front one stride past the post

Did anyone else think this was highly amusing & bizarre? [/color] I walked away from the telly and mumbled to myself, " I must be going blind" I was positive Shoot Out had won. Didn't find out till and hour later when i checked in to see how my Big 6 was going

You guys are retiring on your proceeds from laying Chameleon, I presume?
Or do you wait till after the race to express your views?

DD - we are not saying it was a good lay on Saturday. We are saying your example is not a good one because Chameleon is a restricted class horse in Victoria. No need to get defensive.

Wish you fellas could have come in and told us all this on Friday night.
Seems all the price assessors, and tipsters, and punters, were misinformed too.
