I was singing the praises of the QLD form after this bloke won but a mate reminded me that the Jackal can't get out of his own way down here but won up there

Still think the good ones are equal to other states.

This may have been covered already somewhere but I found the finish to this race yesterday & the carry-ons one of the most bizarre things I've seen for awhile.
When I watched the race, I thought Shoot Out may have got up on the outside. Amazingly the racecaller called the other one winning & amazingly the tote odds came up immediately the other one winning. (normally they go to a photo if it's anything less than a neck) Even the slow mo finish seemed to favour the outside.

Richard Freedman (or Callender) on SKY was also trumpeting about the effort of the inside horse & even more amazing they started interviewing the beaten horse trainer.
This was all bizarre to me & then after 2 minutes Richard says the other horse has got the photo, sorry about that viewers.   Did anyone else think this was highly amusing & bizarre?  

She was also coming back from the mile and was in front one stride past the post

I walked away from the telly and mumbled to myself, " I must be going blind"

I was positive Shoot Out had won. Didn't find out till and hour later when i checked in to see how my Big 6 was going

Can agree with the point re Brisbane horses not ebing that slow, DD, but mate are you aware of the C graders Chameleon was getting well beaten by here in Melb?

Only stating fact, DD..

DD - we are not saying it was a good lay on Saturday. We are saying your example is not a good one because Chameleon is a restricted class horse in Victoria.
